Forza Horizon 4 or 5 Performance Those steam ppl who have had the pleasure of the having the system for a while and have played both games, which one plays better with the Steam Deck in terms of getting closest to a stable framerate (60, 50 or 40) and an overall smoother experience? Forza Horizon 5 was one of the games I was most looking forward to on the ROG Ally due to the fact that it’s available on Game Pass and I don’t own the game on Steam. It runs great on the ROG So there is a problem that’s taking this sub by storm. No forza horizon game (or at least 4 and 5) will run at more then 40fps. It seems to be locked at 40fps even though it will occasionally spike to mid 50s. Well, here is my results from messing around with settings. I have gotten the steam deck to run at 55fps stable in forza horizon 5! . To start, unless you have just installed windows, reinstall it. I had windows installed and reinstalled it from settings by using the reset PC function. I got the game working, then it stopped, and doing this and following the following steps has got it to work every time now, so I highly recommend it. The size of the screen is identical, and the resolutions are similar. The Deck has gone for a 16:10 1280 x 800 res, while the Switch is more traditionally 16:9 at 1280 x 720. But raw power isn't Forza Horizon 4 vs 5 on the deck Discussion Thinking about picking on of these up during the steam sake. FH4 is obviously cheaper but FH5 has a bigger selection of cars. Then once your friends name appear on the online list inside the game click on horizon solo and enter solo then again click on horizon life this time it will ask to join a convey with your online friend . Click yes and have fun 😊 works all the time on the steamdeck perfectly.
